Ridiculous PANDORA: FIRE AND ICE Trailer Previews the Asylum’s AVATAR 3 Mockbuster
The Asylum is back at it with another stupid mockbuster and this time it is taking aim at James Cameron’s Avatar universe. The studio has released the first trailer for Pandora: Fire and Ice, a sci-fi adventure that leans into familiar extraterrestrial themes while carving out its own ridiculous war story.
The movie is already available on VOD, so fans curious about this latest genre riff can jump right in after watching the trailer.
The new footage sets up a fiery clash between Earth and an alien race from the planet Pandora. The official synopsis reads, “Decades after humanity’s first contact with Pandora, a new expedition returns to harvest what’s left of the planet’s resources—only to discover that the alien species is preparing to strike back against Earth.”
The cast is led by Eric Roberts, Erika K. Marks, and William McNamara, with the script penned by Joe Roche and Canyon Prince directing.
The Asylum is clearly riding the hype wave surrounding James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash. It’s what they do, and it’s wild to me that for some reason people watch this shit.
