Ridiculous Trailer For The Haunted Ship Horror Film TITANIC 666
Tubi has released the first trailer for its silly Titanic-inspired haunted ship horror movie Titanic 666. The story centers on a new Titanic vessel that was built to pay homage to its predecessor, but when the ship travels over the site of the 1912 disaster, the ghostly passengers from the original Titanic are conjured onto the ship where they wreak havoc. The movie looks absolutely ridiculous.
There’s a big market for these kinds of movies, though, and I can’t help but think a good amount of people are going to tune in to watch it.
The movie is set one hundred and ten years after its namesake’s fateful journey. In the film, “the Titanic III’s maiden voyage will land at the original site of the wreck. Although a faithful replica of the original, this mammoth cruise ship is built with the most advanced technology, ensuring that it has no chance of sinking. But when the Titanic III arrives at the tragic site, strange events begin to occur, as dark forces from the deep rise to the surface, terrorizing all aboard and threatening to repeat one of history’s greatest disasters.”
The cast for the movie includes AnnaLynne McCord (Power Book III: Raising Kanan), Keesha Sharp (Power Book II: Ghost), Lydia Hearst (Z Nation), Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica), Joseph Gatt, Derek Yates, Michael J. Chen, Jhey Castles, Kendall Chappell and Giovannie Espiritu.
McCord will play Mia Stone, a social media influencer and passenger traveling with her husband. Sharp plays Captain Celeste Rhoades, Captain of the Titanic III leading the ship over the site of the original Titanic disaster. Hearst will appear as Idina, a stowaway seeking to avenge the exploitation of the original Titanic victims. Bamber will play Professor Hal Cochran, a passenger on the ship and an artifact collector of the original Titanic ship.
Titanic 666 is being produced for Tubi by The Asylum, and it’s being directed by Nick Lyon and written by Jacob Cooney and Jason White. Titanic 666 will be released on April 15th, on the 110th anniversary of the Titanic disaster… classy.
