RISING STAR 2 Looks to Be an Interesting RPG About Music and You Can Play it During the Steam Summer Game Festival

We’ve all played the fun music games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero. However, Rising Star 2 from Gilligames wants to simulate the music industry. You’ll create a musician and create a band with compatible musicians, create records, perform at gigs, and more. You’ll be able to customize your character, your band’s van, and more. The game is being billed as a strategy RPG over on Steam and I’m very interested to see what the gameplay is actually like. That’s why I’m excited (despite subpar graphics and interface) that during Steam’s Summer Game Festival, Rising Star 2 will be playable.

On June 17, there will be a Q&A followed up on June 20 by a walk-through with Todd M. Gillissie, President of Gilligames and Lead Designer of Rising Star 2. Steam’s Summer Game Festival will run from June 16-22 and if you enjoy the game during that period, you’ll be able to own it in August.

Rising Star 2 is due for release on Steam in August, 2020. Please add it to your wish list on Steam. Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1235110/Rising...
