RIVER CITY GIRLS 2 Release Date Announced!

After a delay was announced for the upcoming River City Girls 2, Way Forward has announced when the game will launch in North America. Mark your calendar for December 15 to return to River City for more brawling fun.

With new playable characters, online play, four player co op, new weapons, shops, items, and more enemies to beat up than you can shake a stick at, this is sure to be a hit for any fan of the River City Girls games. Misako and Kyoko are joined by Riki, Kunio, Marian (from Double Dragons), and Provie (from River City Ransom: Underground) as they fight the Sanwakai criminal syndicate that’s thrown River City into chaos. The game will be fully voiced by Kayli Mills as Misako, Kira Buckland as Kyoko, Greg Chun as Kunio, Kaiji Tang as Riki, DeeZumaki as Provie, and Erika Harlacher as Marian.

The voice work for the first River City Girls was spot on and from what I’ve seen in trailers for the game, this one will be equally good. And let’s not forget the soundtrack which you can listen to and/or download now to get ready for the game. Returning composer Megan McDuffee has made yet another amazing soundtrack. I've been listening to it since it came out and I seriously couldn’t have picked a better composer for these games.

McDuffee has created such a dynamic soundtrack that even out of game it is super fun to listen to.
