RIVER CITY GIRLS 2 Release Window And Trailer

I loved the first River City Girls game, it was fun, had really funny moments, and played really well. Now we can look forward to the sequel to the game in summer 2022 when it releases on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

River CIty GIrls 2 is going to have a ton of new features such as 6 playable characters (Misako, Kyoko, Kunio, Riki, Marian, and Provie), new items, new weapons, new moves, new abilities like guard crush attacks and lift off combos, hired henchmen, and more new areas of the city to explore.

The city will now have a day-night cycle, more-complex terrain, more shops, new hazards, hidden areas, and an abundance of destructible objects. New areas include downtown slums, a tech-company campus, and an enchanted forest. There will even be hideouts where players can store extra equipment, swap recruits, or just chill while listening to music. There are even improved quest tracking, three difficulty settings, and a dynamic story system with dialogue that changes depending on the player-controlled characters.

It’s not all brand new though. You can still look forward to things we loved about the first one such as comic book style cutscenes and music from the original composer Megan McDuffee. This is definitely a game to look out for, the improvements from the first one sound great and I’m excited to be able to try out some of the new characters. You can check out the new trailer below.
