Riveting First Trailer For HBO's Series Adaptation of Stephen King's THE OUTSIDER

HBO has released the first intriguing trailer for its 10-episode adaptation of Stephen King’s The Outsider. This looks like it’s going to be a great and thrilling adaptation of the story and it’s filled a talented cast of actors that includes Ben Mendelsohn, Jason Bateman, Cynthia Erivo, Bill Camp, Mare Winningham, Paddy Considine, Julianne Nicholson, Yul Vázquez, Jeremy Bobb and Marc Menchaca.

The story follows police detective Ralph Anderson (Mendelsohn), “as he sets out to investigate the mutilated body of 11-year-old Frankie Peterson found in the Georgia woods. The mysterious circumstances surrounding this horrifying crime leads Ralph, still grieving the recent death of his own son, to bring in unorthodox private investigator Holly Gibney (Erivo), whose uncanny abilities he hopes will help explain the unexplainable.” While this is going on, another man (Bateman) is arrested for the murder, and he claims he’s innocent.

The Outsider premieres on HBO on January 12th, 2020. This is a series that I’m very excited about and I can’t wait to see it!
