Riveting New Trailer for TNT's SNOWPIERCER Series
TNT has released a new trailer for its upcoming dystopian thriller Snowpiercer. Just yesterday, they announced that the series would be released two weeks earlier than previously planned, which a lot of people seemed happy about.
The upcoming show is based on the 1982 French graphic novel Le Transperceneige, and the 2014 film adaptation from director Bong Joon-ho. The story is set “more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland Snowpiercer centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a 1001 car, perpetually-moving train that circles the globe. Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out in this riveting television adaptation based on the acclaimed movie and graphic novel series of the same name.”
The show looks like it’ll be a solid adaptation. I like what I’ve seen from it so far, and I’ve been looking forward to checking it out. The production value, especially, looks impressive.
The series has an impressive cast that includes Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Alison Wright, Sean Bean, Mickey Sumner, Susan Park, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Lena Hall, Annalise Basso, Sam Otto, Roberto Urbina, Sheila Vand, Jaylin Fletcher, and Rowan Blanchard.
Snowpiercer is set to air on May 17th at 9pm ET/PT.
