Riveting Trailer and Poster for Documentary INMATE #1: THE RISE OF DANNY TREJO
We’ve got an incredibly interesting trailer for you to check out for the upcoming documentary Inmate #1: The Rise of Danny Trejo. The doc will dive into the life of actor Danny Trejo, who had a very rough upbringing in Los Angeles, where he was in a gang, addicted to drugs at a very young age, and in and out of prison for violent crimes before setting his life straight and getting into acting. The title plays on the fact that he paid his dues at the beginning of his career playing the token inmate, gangster, etc. in films.
He credits his life change to deciding to do good and serving others. He has gone on to become a household name and a great actor in films and series like Heat, From Dusk Till Dawn, Con Air, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Machete, Fanboys, Sons of Anarchy, and so many more, including tons of animated voice roles. The doc is directed by Brett Harvey (The Culture High, Ice Guardians) and is co-written by Harvey and Scott Dodds.
