We have a great looking trailer for you guys to check out for the upcoming HBO original film Bad Education. The movie is based on the biggest public school embezzlement scandal in history, which took place at the school of the film’s writer, Mike Makowsky (I Think We’re Alone Now). The film was directed by Cory Finley (Thoroughbreds), and stars Hugh Jackman (Logan, The Greatest Showman) as Frank Tassone, Allison Janney (I, Tonya, Mom) as Pam Gluckin, Ray Romano (Everybody Loves Raymond, The Irishman) as Bob Spicer, Geraldine Viswanathan (Blockers, Miracle Workers) as Rachel Bhargava, and Alex Wolff (Hereditary, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) as Nick Fleischman.
Here’s the synopsis:
Inspired by true events, BAD EDUCATION follows Frank Tassone (Hugh Jackman) and Pam Gluckin (Allison Janney) who reign over a popular Long Island school district on the verge of the nation's top spot, spurring record college admissions and soaring property values. But when an embezzlement scheme surfaces that threatens to destroy all they've built, Frank is forced to maintain order and secrecy -- by whatever means necessary.
This movie looks intense and really well-acted with heavy hitters Jackman and Janney at the forefront. I can’t wait to watch it! Check out the trailer below, and watch Bad Education on HBO on April 25th.
