Riz Ahmed Stars as British-Pakistani Rapper in Trailer for MOGUL MOWGLI
We’ve got a new trailer for you to check out from the UK film Mogul Mowgli, starring Riz Ahmed in the role of a British-Pakistani rapper who is on the cusp of an exploding career when he finds out he has a disease that will set his life on a different course. Ahmed is joined in the cast by Aiysha Hart, Kiran Sonia Sawar, Nabhaan Rizwan, Alyy Khan, and Anjana Vasan. The film is directed by Bassam Tariq, who wrote the script alongside Riz Ahmed.
Here’s the synopsis:
British-Pakistani rapper Zed (Riz Ahmed) is a rising star on the cusp of his first world tour. But, struck down by an autoimmune disease that threatens to derail his big break, he's forced to confront his past, his family, his ethnicity, and the uncertainty of his legacy.
