Rob Liefeld Explains How DEADPOOL 2 is Going to Be Like RUSH HOUR

If you enjoyed the onscreen chemistry between Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker in Brett Ratner's Rush Hour films, then apparently, you'll love the dynamic between Ryan Reynolds and Josh Brolin in Deadpool 2. During a recent interview with CB, Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld explained how Deadpool 2 will be like Rush Hour. When talking about Brolin playing Cable in the film, he said:

"He's such a great actor, that's where it starts, and gravitas, and who else really is going to hold their ground with Ryan as Wade/Deadpool. That is energy unbridled, and so you've gotta hold your ground. When I see the two of them I'm like 'It's going to be comic book's equivalent to Rush Hour, and I don't know if comic fans are ready for it. I think it's going to be great.'"

I can see how the dynamic between Deadpool and Cable could be compared to Chan and Tucker. I think their dynamic will be a lot more funny, though! I'm not the biggest fan of Brett Ratner, but I can't deny that I enjoyed those first two of Rush Hour movies. I have no idea what kind of crazy adventure Deadpool and Cable might find themselves in in the upcoming sequel, but I'm sure it will be a wildly good time. I can't wait to these two characters up on the big screen together.
