Rob Liefeld Says Deadpool Was Not Inspired by Deathstroke

Everyone knows there are a lot of similarities between Deadpool and Deathstroke. Teen Titans Go! to the Movies makes fun of this fact. It might intrigue fans to know that Rob Liefeld, the creator of Deadpool, did not base his character on the DC villain.

At LA Comic Con, Liefeld was asked if Deathstroke was used as a model for Deadpool and Liefeld is quick to say “no.” You can watch his response in the video below courtesy of Media Discord.
