Rob McElhenney Calls Anthony Hopkins to Tell Him MYTHIC QUEST Was Renewed for Two More Seasons!
Apple TV+ has renewed its workplace comedy Mythic Quest for two more seasons! This show is funny and entertaining, and I’m happy to learn that the story will continue for at least a couple more seasons. If you haven’t watched this show yet, it’s definitely worth checking out!
Rob McElhenney stars in the series as the creator of an epic fantasy video game titled Mythic Quest which is the biggest multiplayer video game of all-time. The story follows the team behind the game who are “tasked with building worlds, moulding heroes and creating legends, but the most hard-fought battles don't occur in the game -- they happen in the office.” Mythic Quest just ended its second season.
Rob McElhenney shared the news in a video he poster on Twitter in which he FaceTimes Anthony Hopkins to give him the exciting update. Hopkins was the narrator on a special episode titled "Everlight" that debuted between the first and second seasons. So, McElhenney brought the legendary actor back for this announcement video, and Hopkins is acting super confused about the whole thing. While talking to McElhenney, Hopkins gets a call from Ted Lasso star Jason Sudeikis. So, Hopkins ditches McElhenney to talk to Sudeikis and tells him he wants to play Keeley’s boyfriend.
Mythic Quest was created by McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Megan Ganz and it stars F. Murray Abraham, Charlotte Nicdao, Danny Pudi, Ashly Burch, Imani Hakim, David Hornsby, and Jo Ennis.
Are you happy to hear that Mythic Quest is getting two more seasons?
