Rob McElhenney Creates an Epic Fantasy Video Game in Trailer For MYTHIC QUEST: RAVEN'S BANQUET

Apple TV+ has released a new trailer for an upcoming comedy series they are producing titled Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet. The show comes from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia stars and executive producers Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day.

McElhenny also stars in the series as the creator of an epic fantasy video game and the series centers around the drama of creating it. You see, McElhenny’s character wants all the glory and credit for the creation of the game and as you might imagine, this frustrates his team of talent who were brought in to help bring his vision to life. As you might imagine, this sets up some amusing workplace situations. Here’s the synopsis:

Meet the team behind the biggest multiplayer video game of all time. But in a workplace focused on building worlds, molding heroes, and creating legends, the most hard-fought battles don’t occur in the game—they happen in the office.

The series also stars F. Murray Abraham as C.W. Longbottom, Danny Pudi as Brad, Imani Hakim as Dana, Charlotte Nicdao as Poppy, David Hornsby as David, Ashly Burch as Rachel and Jessie Ennis as Jo, and comedian Aparna Nancherla also has a role in the series as well.

he show is also executive produced and co-created by Megan Ganz, who has written and executive produced for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Modern Family, Community, and The Last Man on Earth.

Mythic Quest: Raven’s Banquet starts streaming on Apple TV+ on February 7, 2020.
