Rob Zombie Starts Shooting THE MUNSTERS and Shares a Photo From the Set Featuring the Logo

Director Rob Zombie has started production on his upcoming film adaptation of The Munsters and he’s shared a photo from the set of the film, which reveals the logo for the title. As you can see below, it has that classic feel as the original logo for the classic 1960s series.

Zombie has been sharing a lot of behind the scenes photos during the pre-production process. The most interesting image was the one above featuring Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster, and Dan Roebuck as Grandpa Munster, who all look great in their roles.

The film follows a family of benign monsters who relocate from Transylvania to the American suburbs. I’m not a big fan of Zombie’s film work, but I’m curious to see what Zombie is going to do with this in regards to the tone and story. He is obviously looking to capture and replicate the look and style of the original 1960s series. I hope he ends up make a great film that audiences will enjoy!
