Robert De Niro and John Boyega Set to Star in Drama THE FORMULA at Netflix

Robert De Niro and John Boyega have signed on to star in the upcoming film The Formula at Netflix. The film is being directed by Gerard McMurray, who directed Burning Sands, one of Netflix’s first original features, as well as The First Purge and an episode of the rebooted series The Twilight Zone, titled “Replay.” McMurray will write and direct, as well as produce alongside De Niro.

Deadline reports, “The story will follow a Formula One racing prodigy is forced to become a getaway driver to save the only family he has left.” This is all the info we have for now, but these two actors make for a solid foundation on this project. We will report when we know more.
