Robert Downey Jr. is Still Looking at Making SHERLOCK HOLMES 3

Last we heard about Sherlock Holmes 3, it had just gotten a team of writers set up. This was over a year ago and we haven’t heard a peep about the film. This makes it easy for one to think the project is dead. However, Robert Downey Jr. is still wanting to make it happen. While doing the rounds for Avengers: Infinity War, Downey talked about some non-Marvel things he’s working on:

First of all the missus is front and center with Joe Roth producing Doolittle, I’m having a good time. Though I decided to give myself, like 40 additional challenges. Like a Welsh accent - which even Welsh people say is hard to do. Then there’s all the stuff down the pike, we’re looking at another Sherlock Holmes, we’re developing Perry Mason for HBO. I still want to do Pinocchio.

I know, it’s sometimes hard to remember that he can do more than be Tony Stark. Downey is a talented actor and I love his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes. I hope we get to learn more about the third installment in the not too distant future. Maybe Iron Man will die in Infinity War and free Downey up to work on these other projects.
