How much is 15 minutes of screen-time worth? If you're Robert Downey Jr., apparently over $500k a minute. That's how much Spider-Man: Homecoming paid to have Iron Man grace their film according to a recent article by Variety, which has revealed actors' salaries.
RDJ is one of the more extreme exceptions of an actor getting paid buku bucks for a cameo role, but it really shows just how much Marvel values him as the face of the franchise. It also shows how much money they could save should they decide to kill him off at the end of Avengers 4.
