Robert Duvall, Queen Latifah, and Ben Foster Join Adam Sandler's Basketball Movie HUSTLE at Netflix

Actors Ben Foster (Six Feet Under, 3:10 to Yuma), Queen Latifah (Chicago, Last Holiday), and Academy Award winner Robert Duvall (Apocalypse Now, Jack Reacher) have joined the previously cast Adam Sandler in the upcoming basketball movie Hustle at Netflix. The film is being directed by Jeremiah Zagar from a script by Taylor Materne and Oscar nominee Will Fetters.

Deadline reports that NBA player Juancho Hernangomez, Jordan Hull (The L Word: Generation Q), Maria BottoMad Dogs), Ainhoa Pillet, and sports commentator Kenny Smith also made the casting roster.

Here’s the film’s synopsis:

Sandler stars as a down on his luck basketball scout who discovers a once-in-a-lifetime player with a rocky past abroad and takes it upon himself to bring the phenom to the States without his team’s approval. Against the odds, they have one final shot to prove they have what it takes to make it in the NBA.

This sounds like a solid story, especially since I’m a sucker for sports movies. They always seem to get me right in the feels. Plus the cast is really great. I’ll definitely be looking forward to Hustle. Are you interested?
