Robert Patrick Joins The YELLOWSTONE Prequel Series 1923

Robert Patrick (Terminator, The X-Files, Sons of Anarchy) is the latest actor to join the cast of Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone prequel series 1923. This is great casting, and he’s going to fit right in with this franchise!

The cast for 1923 is led by Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. Ford will play Jacob Dutton, the head of the Yellowstone ranch and brother of James Dutton. Mirren will portray Cara Dutton, the wife to Jacob.

They are joined by James Badge Dale, Brandon Sklenar, Sebastian Roché, Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, and Julia Schlaepfer.

The show will focus on the Dutton family’s “next two generations as they struggle to survive historic drought, lawlessness and prohibition, and an epidemic of cattle theft; all battled beneath the cloud of Montana’s great depression, which preceded the nation by almost a decade. The show will also touch on the end of World War I, which occurred in 1918.”

Patrick will portray Sheriff William McDowell, who is a friend of the Dutton family. He’s going to be great in this role!

Mann will take on the role of Jack Dutton, John Dutton Sr.’s son and great nephew to Jacob Dutton. He is described as “a dedicated rancher who is deeply loyal to his family.”

Randolph will play Elizabeth Strafford, a “feisty and capable young woman set to marry into the Dutton family.” Dale will play John Dutton Sr., the oldest nephew and right-hand man of Jacob Dutton.

Shelton will play Emma Dutton, the dutiful wife of John Dutton Sr. and the mother of Jack Dutton. Geraghty will play Zane, a “fiercely loyal” ranch foreman. Nieves will play Teonna Rainwater, a young woman at a government residential boarding school. Schlaepfer will play Alexandra, a British woman who meets one of the Duttons abroad.

Sklenar will take on the role of Spencer Dutton, Jacob Dutton’s nephew, and John Dutton Sr.’s brother.

1923 is currently in production in Montana and will debut on Paramount+ in December 2022.
