Robert Pattinson Almost Certainly Set to Play THE BATMAN

We have been hearing the rumors circling around Robert Pattinson (Twilight, Remember Me, Good Time) potentially playing Batman in the upcoming Matt Reeves iteration, The Batman, and it looks like final negotiations are currently going down. Multiple sources are reporting that Pattinson pretty much has the role in the bag, and others are noting that Nicholas Hoult (Warm Bodies, X-Men movies, Tolkien) still has his hat in the ring, although the most buzz has been surrounding Pattinson.

Reeves took up the responsibility of director over two years ago, leaving fans wondering when we would actually get to see this film. And although we have known for a while that Ben Affleck was ready to hang up the cowl, we have been on pins and needles waiting for our new caped crusader.

The Batman is currently in development, and is expected to hit theaters June 25, 2021.

Will you be happy if Pattinson takes over as the Dark Knight? Would you prefer Hoult, or do you have someone totally different in mind? As always, let us know in the comments.
