Robert Schwalb Created a Supplement to Bring the Warlord Back to DUNGEONS & DRAGONS

I started playing Dungeons & Dragons with 4th Edition and it was a lot of fun. I bought a lot of the books and was in awe of the classes and races that were available. Then, 5th Edition was released, and I was excited because of all the praise that it was getting.

I have always been a little saddened by two changes to 5E: fewer races and fewer classes. I know that since 5E was released, a lot of new races have been introduced in new books, but the number of classes hasn’t changed. There has been an increase in sub-classes, but there were some cool classes that don’t exist yet in 5E after almost 5 years.

One class that disappeared with the new edition was the Warlord. This class was a battle strategist that could help improve their allies’ efficiency in battle. It was kind of like a mix between a Fighter and a Bard.

Well, if you loved that class, or you like the idea of that class, you can finally play one in 5E. A new supplement on DriveThru RPG comes from Robert Schwalb who has worked on other 5E projects including the Player’s Handbook, not to mention other RPG projects. Call to Arms: The Warlord gives you the ability to play as this lost class and once again lead your friends into battle and make fantastic strategies to defeat your foes.
