Robin Wright, Ray Winstone, and Nick Robinson Join Millie Bobby Brown in Netflix's DAMSEL
Millie Bobby Brown is going to be surrounded by a talented supporting cast of actors for her upcoming Netflix fantasy film project, Damsel. It was announced that Robin Wright (House of Cards), Ray Winstone (The Departed), Nick Robinson (Jurassic World), Brooke Carter (The Alienist) and Shohreh Aghdashloo (X-Men: The Last Stand) have joined the project, which also includes Angela Bassett.
The movie tells the story of a dutiful damsel who “agrees to marry a handsome prince, only to find the royal family has recruited her as a sacrifice to repay an ancient debt. Thrown into a cave with a fire-breathing dragon, she must rely on her wits and will to survive.”
The movie comes from Oscar-nominated filmmaker Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, with a script by Wrath of the Titans scribe Dan Mazeau. The film is produced by Joe Roth, Jeff Kirschenbaum and Chris Castaldi.
