Rocksteady Studios Reportedly Developing a New BATMAN Game
A new report has surfaced saying that the UK team of Rocksteady Studios is working on a new a Batman game. It’s also said that this game could be exclusive to PS5 or PS6.
Rocksteady apparently started work on the Batman game this past summer after the game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League completely bombed. After that happened many assumed that the studio, who developed the Batman: Arkham games, would go back to what they know is successful.
The report comes from Nick Baker of Xbox Era over on X. In the past, Baker has proven to be reliable with numerous leaks and reports in the past, but, there’s still no official confirmation that this is really happening.
Baker says that he heard Rocksteady is back to making Batman and that thinks "Sony are trying to moneyhat it." In case you’re not familiar with that term, Moneyhatting refers to the act of using financial incentives or bribes to gain the upper hand typically on the competition.
If Sony is the studio behind funding the game, it’s only common sense to assume that it will most likely be exclusive PS5 or PS6 or both depending on when this game ends up releasing.
Again, this is all just a rumor right now, so we’ll have to wait to see how this all shakes out.
