ROGUE ONE Trailer Rumored to Be Attached to CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR
With Rogue One: A Star Wars Story set to be released later this year, we can expect to see a trailer in the not too distant future. The film was recently named the most anticipated movie of 2016 as a result of a poll conducted by Fandango, which is really no surprise because it's another Star Wars movie!
So when exactly will we get to see the first trailer for the movie? According to Making Star Wars, the first trailer will be attached to Captain America: Civil War. It makes complete sense if that is the case. After all, they are both Disney properties.
I image that the trailer will be released online about a week before we get to see it in theaters, which is what they did with the trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens before it debuted in theaters.
Rogue One is the first of several standalone Star Wars films to be released outside of the “saga” movies. It will tell the story of an elite unit of the Rebel Alliance that embarks on a mission to steal the plans to the Empire's new mega-weapon, the Death Star. It takes place shortly before A New Hope, and shortly after the events of the animated series Star Wars Rebels.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards, and is scheduled to be released on December 16th, 2016. There have been some interesting rumors regarding it, which include Peter Cushing’s character from A New Hope being digitally recreated and the possible inclusion of Darth Vader.
I can’t wait to get our first good look at this movie!
