Ron Howard Casts His Brother Clint in The HAN SOLO FIlm
Director Ron Howard has cast his older brother Clint Howard in the Han Solo film. Clint is a character actor that has appeared in many of Ron's films over the years. One of his most memorable roles was when he played NASA engineer Seymour Liebergot in Apollo 13. Clint has also starred in a good amount of B horror movies throughout the course of his career.
There's no word on who Clint will be playing in Han Solo or how big of a role he'll have, but it will most likely be a small cameo sized part.
Ron revealed that Clint would be in the film after a fan sent a tweet to him saying, "Please tell me you have a role for Clint." To which Ron responded, "You won't be disappointed."
Ron also recently gave an update on the film to THR, in which he told them it was "coming along great." He added:
"It's a fantastic script, a great cast and I am having a fantastic creative experience with it. It's a great young cast, incredibly strong — smart, funny people who love their characters and love being part of this. I think we'll be able to do something that is a lot of fun."
It's great to hear that he's having fun and I love that he's trying to include the fans in on that fun with the photos and comments that he's been posting on social media.
