Ron Howard Started Working on HAN SOLO Today and Tweets About It

Production on the Han Solo spin-off resumed in London today, it also marked Ron Howard's first day directing the Star Wars stand-alone. The Academy Award-Winning director took to Twitter to commemorate the moment. He shared a picture from the set of the film and it looks more like an accidental photo than anything interesting. It was a picture of the floor, a few bottles of water and his feet and it came with the comment:

"Cool scene today but I'm afraid this is the most revealing image I dare share from my 1st day on the set of the Untitled Han Solo movie."

Former directors Christopher Miller and Phil Lord parted ways with Lucasfilm because of "creative differences." Howard was named as the new director to take over only two days later.

In his first public statement since announcing the departure, Miller quoted Han Solo from the moment in A New Hope when the character was under duress.
