Ron Howard to Direct and Produce True Crime Thriller ORIGIN OF SPECIES

Academy Award and Emmy-winning director Ron Howard (A Beautiful Mind, Arrested Development) has signed on to direct a true crime thriller titled Origin of Species, which he will also produce through his Imagine Entertainment production company. The script is being written by Noah Pink (Genius: Aretha, The Show).

The story “is about an unlikely group of people who independently turn their backs on society. Each fueled by a deep desire for change, they leave everything behind and stake their futures on the most unlikely of places – the harsh landscape of The Galapagos.”

Rumors are Howard has scouted locations and been meeting with actors, and this project is emerging as a priority. I am a huge fan of Howard, so I look forward to seeing this movie. We will let you know more as it develops.
