Ron Perlman, Tony Jaa, and T.I. Harris Join MONSTER HUNTER
I have no idea how Paul W.S. Anderson is going to adapt Monster Hunter into a movie. In the games, you track and hunt monsters and use their carcasses to create cooler armor and weapons. Then again, maybe its lack of storytelling makes it perfect for adapting. Either way, it is happening and there are three names being added along that of Milla Jovovich. THR recently reported that T.I. Harris and Ron Perlman were joining the film with the following character descriptions:
We then learned in another report that Tony Jaa is joining the film as well. All we know about his role is that he will be “the movie’s male lead, a man simply called The Hunter.” How mysterious!
This isn’t Anderson’s first video game adaptation though. He was behind the adaptations of Resident Evil and Mortal Kombat. Do you think this movie will work out or is it doomed?
