Rooster Teeth Shares New RWBY Volume 9 Teaser And Clip, RWBY Game, And Upcoming RWBY/DC MOVIE

Rooster Teeth has big news for RWBY fans from RTX Austin. We have news about Volume 9, a new game, and an all new RWBY/DC crossover movie. 

We got the announcement that Volume 9 will be premiering early 2023. After a traumatic Volume 8, team RWBY finds themselves stuck in an unknown world of Ever After. As the team explores they find this realm may not be as unknown as originally thought. They’ll have to overcome challenges of their own identities and whether or not they’re equipped to stop Salem. We have a teaser trailer and a new clip to share with you here.

There has also been a new game announced, RWBY Arrowfell. Developed by WayForward, known for Shantae and River City Girls, and publisher/developer Arc System Works, the game is an all new, 2D action adventure. You’ll get to play as team RWBY as you battle Grim in the world of Remnant. Check out the trailer below to get a look at the combat, puzzles, visuals, and play mechanics. I have high hopes for this game despite some less than stellar past RWBY games since they will have the team at WayForward this time around. The game will release in Fall 2022 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. 

Finally, a new movie that will be a RWBY and DC crossover featuring the Justice League will be premiering in 2023. Since the RWBY/Justice League comic series was a breakthrough hit, the movie is a natural next step. The film will be an original story which will expand the world of the crossover. No trailer or images yet, but definitely keep an eye out for more announcements about this one.
