Rooster Teeth Teams Up with DC Comics for RWBY and GEN:LOCK
RTX was this last weekend, and I was shocked to find out that Rooster Teeth and DC have teamed up to make some comics. DC will be making gen:LOCK and RWBY comics for Rooster Teeth, which surprised me as VIZ has made RWBY manga in the past, so I wasn’t expecting a more western comic approach for the property.
gen:LOCK will be written by Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing with Carlo Barbieri providing the art. The comic will “expand on the world” that fans came to know in the series. Meanwhile, Marguerite Bennett will write and Mirka Andolfo and Arif Prianto will create the art for the RWBY comic.
Nothing official has been given as to what the RWBY comic will actually have for the story, but the cover art for the first issue sees Team RWBY in their outfits from Seasons 4-6.
