ROYAL JELLY Has A Questionable Enough Premise To Be Hilarious

Uncork’d Entertainment has released a trailer for their newest movie Royal Jelly. The film will feature high school bee enthusiast Aster as she gets taken under the wing of a mentor named Tresa. Only after being whisked away to Tresa’s apiary does Aster catch onto Tresa’s diabolical plot, to turn Aster into the new queen bee of a diseased hive. Looks like there’s everything you could want in a bad movie, a crazy plot that upon even a mild amount of scrutiny falls apart, actors that really commit despite bad writing, and romance. Of course, the only thing truly missing is Nicolas Cage screaming about “the bees!” but no movie can be perfect. Check out the trailer and see if this seems like a fun one to make some popcorn and mock into oblivion when it releases on September 14, 2021.
