Rumor Has It Marvel Cancelled DAREDEVIL, Not Netflix, and It Was One of the Most In-Demand Shows
Some interesting and shocking new details have surfaced regarding the cancellation of Daredevil. There has been a lot of talk that the ratings of the show were down and that it was Netflix’s idea to pull the plug on the show.
Well, according to Deadline, the series was actually doing really well and was one of Netflix’s most in-demand shows! It was the fourth most popular show on the streaming service! The three before it are Narcos, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and Stranger Things.
It doesn’t make any sense for Netflix to cancel the show with such a high rating. Well, maybe that’s because they may not have cancelled it. According to Collider entertainment reporter Steve Weintraub, it was actually Marvel who pulled the plug on the series.
more info I've been sitting on. Since i can't second source this I'll post this as a "rumor" for now. @Daredevil wasn't a @netflix cancellation. @Marvel did it.

I loved season 3 and was all in for a season 4. Disappointing it won't happen. pic.twitter.com/7Y6AmCEWq6
Obviously, Marvel has plans for these characters on Disney+. We just don’t know how the characters will return. There’s been speculation and rumors that the shows will be completely rebooted, but that has yet to be confirmed. As of right now, we don’t know what Marvel is planning for Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. Personally, I’d like to see them continue these stories with the same cast and creative teams.
It is expected that Jessica Jones and The Punisher will also be cancelled after their upcoming seasons air.
