Rumor Has It That Jon Bernthal's Punisher Will Appear in Marvel's DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN
You gotta love the Marvel rumor mill! There’s a rumor making the rounds online right now that is getting Marvel fans even more pumped for Marvel’s upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series.
The rumor originated with scooper KC Walsh, who explained that Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones was originally set to appear in Born Again, but that didn’t work out due to scheduling. So, Marvel Studios has reportedly decided to bring Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle into the series instead.
Now, Walsh didn’t mention Bernthal by name, but there have been rumors buzzing about the possibility of Bernthal’s Frank Castle showing up in an upcoming MCU project for months and that he might even get his own solo series again. His appearance in Born Again could definitely set that up.
This is all just a rumor for now, but it’s a rumor that a lot of fans would love to see come to pass. Jon Bernthal is awesome in the role of Frank Castle and it would be a shame if we never saw him in that role again. I’m actually pretty confident we haven’t seen the last of Bernthal’s Punisher, I just don’t know for sure when or where we’ll see him pop back up in the MCU again.
