Rumored Details Regarding Marvel's Phase 4 Include "Mini Arcs," Norman Osborn, and Nova

Some new rumors have surfaced regarding the future plans of Marvel Studios. These rumors are specifically tied to what we might be able to expect from Phase 4.

The following information comes from a source who goes by the name of “Roger Wardell.” He previously posted Avengers: Endgame spoilers months before of the film was released and that information ended up being true.

So far we know that the films currently in development are Black WidowThe EternalsBlack Panther 2Shang-ChiDoctor Strange 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. This new report claims that sequels to Thor, Ant-Man, and Captain Marvel are in the works along with New Avengers, Young Avengers, and Dark Avengers being possibilities. We have heard rumors about these titles for awhile, so this isn’t anything new.

The source goes on to reveal that moving forward, Marvel Studios is planning to develop “mini-arcs” for the stories they tell as opposed to a decade-long saga. There will also be a clear divide between the cosmic Marvel characters and the heroes on Earth.

It’s said that the big villain of the Earth-based arc will be Norman Osborn, who, as you know, is a character from the Spider-Man comics. He is rumored to be making his MCU debut in Spider-Man: Far From Home. It was recently reported that Oscorp might be the new owners of Avengers Tower in the film.

The source also rehashes another previously reported rumor that Nova, a member of the intergalactic police force known as the Nova Corps, will be introduced in Phase 4. It wouldn’t surprise me if he did end up getting his own movie.

We’ll end up getting a lot of concrete information from Marvel Studios regarding Phase 4 next month at Comic-Con. While we wait, let us know about what you think about these latest rumors.
