MCU Characters That Will Reportedly Appear in SPIDER-MAN 4
This week, we have heard a couple of new things about Marvel’s highly anticipated Spider-Man 4. The film is far from getting off the ground, with no writer or director firmly attached, and even its assumed star, Tom Holland, saying that he’s not ready to commit to the fourth film until he has read a solid script. But fans are hungry for it, and we are looking forward to seeing Peter Parker happy again after the terribly sad ending he faced in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
We don’t know for sure what the story will entail, but rumors we’ve reported on included one that said this films with be the street-level version of Captain America: Civil War, and the movie will pick up shortly after the events of Daredevil: Born Again, with a triumphant Mayor Fisk outlawing street-level vigilantes. That will bring Spider-Man and Daredevil together, joining forces to take Fisk down for good.
Now a new rumor from leaker @Cryptic4KQual claims that Kate Bishop, Jessica Jones, and Echo are all currently expected to appear in the film.
No matter the plot, this next movie will see Peter Parker at rock bottom, totally alone in the world. So it would make sense that he is going to go hard against anyone that stands in the way of him continuing to protect the streets as Spider-Man. It will also be cool if he teams up with new superheroes we haven’t seen him meet before in this clean slate story. I look forward to hearing more as the film progresses. Stay tuned.
