Russell Brand in Talks to Join Kenneth Branagh's DEATH ON THE NILE

Actor and comedian Russell Brand (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) is currently in negotiations to join Kenneth Branagh’s upcoming remake of Death on the Nile. Branagh directed the 2017 remake of the Agatha Christie novel Murder on the Orient Express, and he’s keeping the train a-rollin’ with this next chapter.

Branagh will star as the famous Hercule Poirot, with a crazy ensemble cast that includes Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Armie Hammer (The Social Network), Annette Bening (American Beauty), Letitia Wright (Black Panther), and Tom Bateman (Murder on the Orient Express).

This next film will see inspector Hercule Poirot on vacation on the Nile, where an heiress is murdered on board the cruise and Poirot must solve the mystery before the trip comes to an end. The first movie was really fun, and I’m excited to see another one. I’d love to see Russell Brand added to this cast. He always brings a lot of humor and fun to any film he is a part of.
