Russell Crowe has joined the cast of Marvel’s Thor: Love And Thunder, which is currently being directed by Taika Waititi.

Crowe’s role is being kept under wraps. Marvel Studios wanted to keep his involvement a secret to surprise fans with, but a bunch of photos of Crowe hanging out with the cast have hit the internet, so the cat’s out of the bag. His casting was confirmed by Deadline, who says, “Crowe is one of many surprises to come out of the film.”

Thor: Love and Thunder also stars Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder; Natalie Portman is back in the role of Jane Foster; Tessa Thompson is reprising her role as Valkyrie; Chris Pratt returns as Star-Lord; and Christian Bale will play Gore The God Butcher.

Thor: Love and Thunder is currently set to arrive in theaters on May 6th, 2022. Who do you think Crowe could be playing in the movie?
