Russell Crowe Will Star in a Road Rage Thriller Called UNHINGED

Russell Crowe has jumped on board a new film project called Unhinged, which is a psychological thriller that deals with road rage.

According to Deadline, the story takes “an ordinary, everyday incident to its most terrifying conclusion in telling the story of a mother who leans on her horn at the wrong time, to the wrong guy.” That guy is Russell Crowe.

Yeah, I wouldn’t want to honk my horn at Russell Crowe either! It’s really not that hard to imagine him snapping and violently terrorizing someone for honking their horn at him. This is sure to be a great and intense role for Crowe to dive into.

I like Crowe as an actor and I’m sure he’ll end up delivering a terrifying performance. The movie will be directed by Derrick Borte (American Dreamer) from a script written by Carl Ellsworth (Disturbia, Red Eye). It will shoot in New Orleans and be released in theater in 2020.
