Russo Brothers Shut Down That AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Concept Art: “Nothing Spoiling in There”
Remember that Avengers: Doomsday concept art that leaked? It was jam-packed with some pretty cool images and teased some of the characters that might appear in the film.
Well, if you were holding out hope that it was legit, the Russo brothers are here to shut it down for you. When talking with THR Joe and Anthony Russo, cleared things up saying: “That artwork was not from Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars.”
Anthony Russo backed him up, adding: “Nothing spoiling in there. That’s not our concept art.”
And there you have it, unless they are lying. Even if it was real it’s not like they are going to confirm it. The Russo’s and Marvel have lied to Marvel fans in the past. I’m just saying. But, when the movie comes out, we’ll know for sure.
This could be art that was done before the Russo’s were involved, though.
In addition to Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, the artwork also features the Young Avengers, including characters like Kate Bishop, Kamala Khan, Cassie Lang, and Billy Maximoff along with his brother, Tommy. The art also features Vision, Star-Lord, Hulk, She-Hulk, and Black Panther.
Doomsday follows Doctor Doom, who believes he is trying to save the multiverse from incursions. In his twisted logic, the only way for the multiverse to survive is to unify all universes in one place—Battleworld—under his rule. He sees this as the sole path to ensuring survival for everyone.
Avengers: Doomsday arrives first on May 1, 2026.
