RWBY: ARROWFELL Gets Release Date And New Trailer
WayForward has announced that their new RWBY: Arrowfell game will officially release on November 15 on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Set shortly after Team RWBY become licensed huntresses in Volume 7, Arrowfell will let you control Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long as they fight hordes of Grimm and other foes using their signature weapons and semblances.
You’ll be able to switch instantly between characters as you explore locations across the frigid continent of Solitas solving puzzles, using items, earning upgrade, and completing missions for characters such as Qrow, Winter, and the Ace Operatives as well as everyday citizens while uncovering clues about a mysterious new technology.
New characters will play a prominent role in the story including a new team of Huntresses, Team BRIR featuring Bianca, Roane, Ivy, and Ruda. The game features voice work from the original cast, a soundtrack by Dale North, and a brand new theme song by Jeff Williams with vocals by Casey Lee Williams.
The new trailer looks like a lot of fun. I think the team up of Rooster Teeth and WayForward was a great match. The gameplay looks more fun and dynamic than I’ve seen in past RWBY games, I just wish that more characters and teams could have been playable characters. I really like the show RWBY, but I think the games waste potential by only focusing on the main four.
I get it, they are the protagonists but I think when it comes to adding original canonical stories, focusing on the characters that have been in books like Team CFVY would be really fun. Just something to help expand the world without being so confined by the events of the show would be something worth doing. You can check out the new trailer below and let me know what you think, would you play a RWBY game that didn’t actually feature team RWBY?
