Ryan Gosling Wants to Play Ghost Rider in the MCU

Ryan Gosling has been rumored to be taking on the role of Nova in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but don’t expect to see that happen. In a recent interview, the actor said those rumors aren’t true. But, he then went on to say that he wants to play Ghost Rider!

The new comes from Happy Sad Confused host Josh Horowitz, who shared on Twitter: "Ryan and I chatted about the Nova rumors yesterday which he said aren't true. BUT this morning Ryan reached out to me to say there is one superhero he wants to play...GHOST RIDER."

There is a Nova project in development with Moon Knight writer Sabir Pirzada currently developing. I’m ok with Gosling not taking on the title role, I actually think he’d make a much better Johnny Blaze, a.k.a. Ghost Rider! But as of right now, we don’t know when we’ll see a new version of Ghost Rider introduced to the MCU. There was a version of the character in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but that wasn’t really connected to the MCU.

When Ghost Rider does eventually make his way to the MCU, would you like to see Gosling in the role? What other actor do you see taking it on?
