VERONICA MARS Actor Ryan Hansen Joins Fox Comedy Pilot ADAM & EVE

I know Ryan Hansen as Dick Casablancas in Veronica Mars and now he has a new role. Hansen will star opposite Odette Annable in the upcoming Fox comedy Adam & Eve. The show is said to span decades in a style similar to what you might expect from a French-Canadian show according to THR.

“Adam & Eve follows a couple at three stages of their relationship: young and passionate; married with kids; and navigating retirement. The show aims to ask such big questions as: What makes a marriage last? Do people really ever change? And after 40 years together, why can’t we pick a place for dinner without it becoming a “thing”?”

The show could be interesting and funny. It also sounds like it could easily become more of a drama. However, the pilot will be directed by Claire Scanlon who has worked on GLOW and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, so I think the former is more likely to happen.

Adam & Eve was created by Jon Beckerman who will serve as executive producer alongside Claude Meunier and Luc Wiseman.
