Ryan Murphy's New Netflix Series Is a Love Letter to the Golden Age of Hollywood

Ryan Murphy, the creator of Glee, American Horror Story, Feud, and Scream Queens, has revealed his next big project. It’s called Hollywood, and he’s developing it for Netflix with frequent collaborator Ian Brennan.

He made the announcement on Instagram, and he says that the series is “a love letter to the Golden Age of Tinseltown.”

There are no other details given, but Murphy has created some great shows, and as someone who has enjoyed diving deep into the history of Hollywood and its golden age, I’m looking forward to seeing what Murphy is planning and seeing what stories that he will tell.

I imagine that it will retell some of the more interesting stories from the history of Hollywood and the talent that filled it. Much like he did with Feud: Bette and Joan, which revolved around the rivalry between Joan Crawford and Bette Davis while they were shooting the film Whatever Happened to Baby Jane.

What are your thoughts on Ryan Murphy’s new Hollywood series?
