Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski Team Up for a Fantastical Comedy Called IMAGINARY FRIENDS
Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski are teaming up for a new film project called Imaginary Friends. Krasinski will write, direct, produce, and star in the film. Reynolds will star alongside him.
This film is a fantastical comedy that tells the story of “a man who can see and talk to people’s imaginary friends, befriending those that have been forgotten or discarded. However, some imaginary friends, lacking love and friendship, turn to the dark side, and it’s up to Reynolds’ character to save the world from those that become evil.”
There was a heavy bidding war between several studios for the project, and Paramount Pictures ended up winning in the end. With Reynolds and Krasinski on board this project, it’s sure to be a big hit! On top of that, the concept for the story is really interesting and unique and it could be a lot of fun!
Reynolds is currently attached to star in a comedy musical interpretation of “A Christmas Carol“ with Will Ferrell. He will next be seen in Michael Bay’s Netflix movie 6 Underground, as well as in Shawn Levy’s Free Guy for Fox/Disney. As for Krasinski, he is currently working on the sequel to his horror film hit, A Quiet Place.
