Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson Are Coming Back For THE HITMAN'S BODYGUARD Sequel

For those of you who enjoyed the Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson action comedy The Hitman's Bodyguard, you'll be happy to hear that Millennium Films is developing a sequel. The sequel will be called  The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard, and the two lead actors are expected to reprise their roles.

There's no word on what the plot of the film will entail, but it will obviously heavily involve the wife of Samuel L. Jackson's character, who was played by Salma Hayek in the first film. While there is no script for the movie yet, it's being described at the Cannes Film Festival as "The Good. The Bad. And the Batshit cray."

The first movie turned out being a fun and entertaining action movie. Reynolds and Jackson had great chemistry, but it will never be in the same league as buddy cop films like Lethal Weapon, True Lies, or Bad Boys.

The screenwriter of the first film, Tom O'Connor, will be back to write the sequel and according to THR, director Tom O'Connor will also be back to helm the film. What do you think about The Hitman's Bodyguard getting a sequel?
