Ryan Reynolds Is an Unlikely Hero Out to Save His Video Game World in New Trailer for FREE GUY
An amusing, action-packed new trailer has been released for Ryan Reynolds’ upcoming action-comedy Free Guy.
The story follows a bank teller named Guy who “discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game and…decides to become the hero of his own story…one he rewrites himself. Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way…before it is too late.”
I like the concept for this film, and this new trailer shows off some cool new footage and also offers some interesting new story details that we didn’t know before, which include certain things that are happening in the real world as Guy become self-aware and embarks on his journey to change and save his video game world. This movie is going to be a ton of fun to watch!
The movie was directed by Shawn Levy (Stranger Things, Real Steel), and it also stars Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Taika Waititi.
