Ryan Reynolds is Producing an R-Rated Stoner Version of HOME ALONE Called STONED ALONE
Ryan Reynolds has teamed up with Fox to producer an R-rated stoner comedy that riffs on the John Hughes and Chris Columbus classic film Home Alone. The movie will be called Stoned Alone and it's exactly what you imagine it will be. Here's the synopsis:
Stoned Alone is reminiscent of that hallowed comedy classic. It centers around a twenty-something weed growing loser who misses the plane for his holiday ski trip. He makes the best of things by getting high. Paranoia sets in and he believes he hears someone break into his house. Turns out thieves have broken in. Fully stoned and fueled by paranoia, he tries to thwart the thieves and defend his castle.
You know what would make this movie even better? If they cast Macaulay Culkin in the lead role! It'd be a shame if they didn't offer him the role because that would just take this movie to a whole new level of greatness. I have no idea if he'd do it or not, but they should at least ask him!
Stoned Alone will be directed by Augustine Frizzell (Never Goin’ Back) from a script written by Kevin Burrows and Matt Mider (The Package). What do you think about this movie concept?
