Ryan Reynolds Launched a Streaming Service That Only Played FOOLPROOF
Ryan Reynolds has started his own streaming service called Mint Mobile+. This service is free, which is fantastic, and only has one movie available… the 2003 heist comedy Foolproof. Say what you will, but this is a really funny marketing move for his mobile wireless company Mint Mobile.
If you’re not familiar with the film, here’s the synopsis:
Canadian friends Kevin (Ryan Reynolds), Rob (Joris Jarsky) and Samantha (Kristin Booth) have an unusual hobby -- they plan intricate heists that could actually work, but they never carry them out. When Leo Gillette (David Suchet), a devious English criminal, comes to town and manages to discover the trio's scheme, Kevin, Rob and Samantha are drawn into the real world of illegal activities as they are forced to pull off one of their own robberies. Can they really get away with the perfect heist?
Now, if you enjoy Foolproof, you’ll need to hurry as Reynolds also said that the streaming service will probably be shut down sometime this weekend. How many times will you be binging the film?
I also included the trailer below.
