Ryan Reynolds Managed To Pull Rick Moranis out of Retirement For a Mint Mobile Ad
Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds managed to get fellow Canadian actor Rick Moranis (Ghostbusters, Honey, I Shrunk The Kids) out of retirement to appear in a new Mint Mobile commercial. The way he utilizes Moranis in the ad is brilliant and sweet.
In the ad, Moranis acts like he has no idea what is going on and why he’s in the commercial. When he asks Reynolds why he’s there Reynolds says he just wanted him on because he’s such a big fan.
I grew up with the films that Moranis made and it’s sad that he stopped making films. I understand why he retired, but I’ve still missed him. At least he’s coming back for Disney+’s new series Shrunk with Josh Gad. The series is a revival sequel to Honey, I Shrunk The Kids.
